Wokabaut Bilong Tonten (1972) - Tonten’s Travels
Film screening at the Deutsches Filminstitut und Filmmuseum in Frankfurt in collaboration with the Weltkulturen Museum of this feature drama, The film follows Tonten, a young man from the coast, as he travels across PNG searching for his missing broth-in-law following the death of his wife. Made on the eve of independence this was the first film to be made in PNG with an all indigeous cast
