We are delighted to welcome the Gale History Museum as a participant of the WanBel global project.

The Gale History Museum holds an important collection of Papua New Guinea art and artefacts that contributes to the documentation and preservation of the region’s cultural heritage. Guided by its mission to care for, interpret, and share collections of both national and international significance, the museum actively supports research, education, and community engagement.

Its longstanding commitment and collection-based scholarship provide valuable insights into Papua New Guinea’s diverse histories while strengthening global understanding of these cultural legacies.
