We are delighted to welcome the Museum Fünf Kontinente as a participant of the Wan Bel global project.

The Museum Fünf Kontinente holds a distinguished collection of works from Papua New Guinea, including commanding spirit masks and clan totems from the Sepik River, as well as rare ceremonial boards and ancestral drums. These objects serve as vivid records of Papua New Guinea’s symbolic systems and cultural traditions, illustrating the interwoven relationships between art, ritual, and community life.

Through its commitment to contextualized cultural presentation and cross-cultural dialogue, the museum plays an important role in broadening understanding of Pacific heritage within a global framework.
